The internship will start with a short stay at the head office in Oslo with an introduction to Klaveness, the
vessels and the stay on board the vessel.
The next 5-7 weeks will be on board one of our ships where the student will have a defined training
program with the different departments on board. The vessel is not selected yet, and it will depend on the
fleets’ schedule and trading pattern. After the summer internship, Klaveness can also offer possibilities for
support and assistance in projects and master thesis for further studies.
The right candidate must be genuinely interested in learning from practical hands on experience on board,
show interest and respect for other cultures, and in general be positive, social and open to challenges
underway. The candidate must have completed the 3rd year or higher, alternatively have succeeded
acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and is entering a Master program.
Post your application including a one minute video and your latest grades by 4 April 2018 by using the link
